The following article is intended for Nexus administrators. Your view may not reflect the following content if you have not been assigned an Admin role.
Description
Permissions allow you to control who has access to the objects and folders in your Nexus workspace and projects. Owner, Write, Delete and Read privileges can be set for individual users or user groups.
Ownership confers full access to the workspaces, projects, folders, files and tasks created by the owner.
All users who have been granted access to a workspace are given read/write access to the projects, folders, files and tasks in that workspace by default; however, owners and administrator may limit access to particular projects, folders, files and tasks.
Steps
To view user access permissions for the current project:
- From the navigation menu, Click on <the name of the current project>
- Select Project settings

- Click the Permissions tab to view your user access permissions for the current project.

- You can simply amend the permissions by clicking the checkbox on the permission with the corresponding user you want to apply the changes for.
As your Nexus environment grows, so does the complexity of your permissions. To make this easier, we recommend using groups to manage your permissions. You can read more about how to manage groups here.
