How to use the Nexus Viewer

 

Description

The Nexus Viewer encourages collaboration by assisting senior and external stakeholders in viewing and interrogating models within Micromine Nexus without the need for training or modelling software. 

Steps

You can begin viewing models within Micromine Nexus in a number of ways. 

Viewing models whilst browsing objects

1. Click on the object/model that you are looking to view from either a Library, Project or Tasks
2. On the right-hand pane, click on Object preview
   
   
   
   
3. You will be redirected to the Viewer where it will display the object

Viewing models directly from the Viewer

1. Within Micromine Nexus, select Viewer
   
   
   
   
2. In the Layers window, click Open
   
   
   
   
3. Browse to where the object is located and click Select.
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. If you would like to select a new object, simply click the X in Layers and open a new object. 

Note

• This functionality is only available for wireframes that are uploaded to Micromine Nexus from Micromine Origin & Beyond 2023.5 and later. 
• Disable the option for wireframes to be uploaded as .TRIDB files. This can be done by clicking Project > Nexus > Options and uncheck 'Publish wireframes as Micromine .TRIDB files'
